01 530I: Engine Needs Service Soon light

I posted this up in the newbie section, but wasn't getting a response at all. Anyways, I just recently bought the car not too long ago and the "Engine Needs Service Soon" lights lid up. What is this light? Is this something major that I need to bring into the dealer to look into? How can I reset it? Any more info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

No thats just areminder 4 u 2 change your oil..If u plan on keeping that car u go on the internet and bye a maint light reset tool. I think the name of it is called peeke reset tool..best bye 4 the buck..

Actually its a "Check Engine Light" which I just found out from the dealer ship when I took it in for the oil service. The Code that pulled is: P0741: Torque Converter CKT Performance or Stuck Off. Anyone know any kind of info regarding this error code?
