Hi,
I want to change my E34 540i 1995's wheels and tires. I want to change from 235/60/15 to 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear. Does anyone here know the wheel size to fit my wish? like 18 X 8 & 9.5? is that fit?

Just my opinion but if you do get the tires you want you can't rotate them and you'll be spending a lot more $$ on tires from then on...

I have 235/45/17 on mine and they look and handle great.

it's up to you...good luck

I have a 99 540 and I'm changing the rims and tires today....I am going with Beyern Rims 18" x 8.5 fronts and 18 x 9.5 rears....Can't remember the tire sizes off the top of my head....As for roting the tires and wear...you pay for a certain look this way, I figure that I will wear two sets of fronts for every one in the back, making sure that I keep up with the balancing and high speed shaving if that's necessary...this may not be totally true but I'm prepared for what ever come my way

I already installed 8 and 9.5 wheels to my 1995 540i. Tires are 245 40 18 and 275 35 18. They run perfectly. No need to put spacers. I bought a pair of 10 mm spacers and only installed them 5 minutes. No need them. Any one wants to buy them I will sell them at 100 bucks.

Wait, why will you put 2 sets of tires on the front for every set on the rear, on a rear wheel drive car with aggressive camber in the rear?
