so, cabrios do accept newer bumpers without mods.
my questions are ...
do you guy use the plastic sliders ?

- i tryed the front ones but they create a gap between bumper and fender.

- as per rear, yet to try, looks like it needs some drilling.

I really like the clean look without those ugly external foglights.

your comments please...

The bumpers don't swap straight over - some alterations are required, so youllhave to see where the mounts are when the bumper is lined up and fabricate mounting points to allow it to fit (usually).

A further complication even on e30s that are using same bumper types, and just swapping them over is that in the factory they used self tapping screws often, and where they didn't alot of panel assembly was done by hand - thus mounting holes/points panels from two cars will very rarely line up exactly.

was able to bolt them on without much fuzz,
the only thing was attaching it to near wheel wells.

The other option is to source non-US metal bumpers like these on a
member of my local BMW club's red cabby. (Hope u don't mind me showing off u'r car Will if u see this.)
yeap, on my Delphin Metallic cabrio I`m runing an M technic 1 up front with Euro
bumper and an m technic 2 on rear, thanks for the pis, currently searching for a
rear euro bumper to set this car in full mtech 1 as the red pic you posted,

well, almost all done,
added a Racing Technics rear apron, all I need now it's a red front valance.

Im starting to like the smooth non rear spoiler look, whet you guys think ?
