What kinda gasmileage do you guys see cruising about 80 on the freeway in a 2001+ m3. I know they are rated at 17/24 but for that 3.2L engine I would hope a little better? Just curious as to some owners #'s.
I get @ 16.5 - 18 mpg doing MOSTLY city/traffic driving. And I calculate mpg myself, not by the guage. On the freeway, I'd say you'd see @ 20 - 22 mph traveling @ 80 mph.
on a long trip to 800 miles, i was getting 26mpg avg 80-85, but around town really kills ya its only like upper teens, but with usually with a mix of highway and city i avg low 20's or high teens
