When I configured that, the MSRP came to $50,720, is that correct? If so, that is an insanely good lease deal. Our ML500 with the same lease plan (MSRP of $50,260) is $720/month so I think you did great! What dealership did you get your BMW from? Thanks!

Yea thats the MSRP. Basically they are making insanely good deals on 3's and 5's right now. The residuals and rates are great, and they are gearing up for the 06's.

With the impending release of the '06 model soon (something like March/April I've heard for the '06 w/ the new engines in the E60), they are offering great deals on the 05's

Excellent!

Vroman, can you tell me which dealership you got your BMW from? You said "NJ tax" in your lease deal so I am assuming you got the car from a Jersey dealership?

I'd put my money on either JMK, Difeo, Park Ave... Hopefully he got it at JMK as they have a great service department and shop...

On topic: That's a great lease price, BMW must be cleaning the 2.5, 3.0, and 4.4's out of their inventory. It would bother however if the NEW engine was significantly better than the current 3.0 one, I'd feel somewhat short...

Actually I worked with Manhattan BMW, as they are a factory shop. The great deals have to do with the new engine as you all said, and the release of AWD on the 5's. As for the new engine being significantly better, I guess we will have to wait and see, but i'm not that into HP. The only other thing is fuel efficiency, which is supposed to improve. The fact that i'm saving $100/month on my lease might make me look past that.

Good number. I tell anyone that will listen how good BMW Financials lease numbers are. You definitely need to have a good dealer to work with. My friend is my sales rep so I don't get screwed on the hidden numbers. ie money factor.

with a lease, you won't feel as ripped off when they roll out something cool and better. i'm still a bit miffed about the new engine on the e90, and my car's nearly 18months old! oh well, i'm sort of over it.. [:p]

Not to mention double bank fees.

Yeah, but you're a ZHP. The new E90 330i is still 0.4 seconds slower than your car to 60mph.
Or we can both trade in our cars for brand new BMW's. I want an X5 4.8is.
