I am searching for all available information on the 2005 M3 and when it will be offered. If anyone has seen or heard anything please pass it on. I have also heard that the current 5 series is going to be offered with a twin turbo, could this be true?

No, the 5-series is not going to be offered with a twin turbo. BMW firmly believes in naturally aspirated engines. As for the 2005 M5, we still have another year until that is out, and in like 2006, there will be an M4 to replace the current E46 M3.

I think Mr E. is right. But if BMW ever comes out with forced engine, my money says it will be a Kompressor (Supercharger). The Germans tend to prefer supercharging over turbocharging. On the Beemer side (motorcycles) there have been rumors of a supercharged K series bike.[:0]

Yeah, if BMW ever did use forced induction, I really think it would be a supercharger. They are instant power, they last longer (whereas turbocharger's performance decreases with age), and the engine will last forever if it's installed/tweaked professionally (such as from the factory).
And we already know about all the new 5-series engines. There is the 525i with the 2.5 liter I6, the 530i with the 3.0 liter I6, and the 545i with the 4.4 liter V8. The only upcoming engines for the new 5-series is the M5's engine, which is a 500hp naturally-aspirated V10. Mmmmm, beefy! [:D]

What part is news to you? The part about the new M4? Based on what I have read through various car magazines, BMW's schedule should be as follows:
-All-new 3-Series Sedan released as a 2005 model.
-All-new 4-Series Coupe (3-Series version of the coupe, will be dubbed as 4-Series, rather than the current "3xxCi") one year after new 3-Series Sedan.
-M4 release a year after that, utilizing the E39 M5 engine (4.9 liter 394hp V8).
This schedule may move faster or slower, depending on many factors, but hopefully my info is decently accurate. [:)]
