318is flywheel

I recently purchased a 1991 318is and it's a little bit on slower side on the take-off, and I'm looking for a light weight flywheel to make it a little bit faster, but I haven't been able to find anything besides OEM and was wondering if anyone knew where I could find one.

Hmm, the only high performance flywheel I can think of for any E30 is the one from the E30 M3, but that would probably be too snatchy for the 318is... Personally, I wouldn't change the flywheel as the stock drivetrain on these cars are pretty much bulletproof.

Perhaps go with a Schnitzer ECU, and a cat-back exhaust to give you more power and an increased redline. That'll definitely give you more acceleration - I've been on the receiving end of a 318is with these mods and it wasn't pretty!
