Hey everybody...
I really appreciate your help on my last problem. Ive determined that my head gasket is still in tact. thank goodness. Ever since my car got hot a few times it has developed a slight miss when i start it cold and when i restart it warm. It only misses for a little while but it annoys me. Does anyone have any idea what this could be. I took out all my spark plugs today and they all look fine im wondering if coincidentally some crap plugged up one of my injectors at the same time as the overheating issue. Well its official, my head gasket is blown. i had just gotten done putting a new radiator, water pump and thermostat in my car and i was taking a trip to Chico and the car overheated. it overheated a couple more times and I pulled out the dipstick and sure enough there was some white foam. I always shut the engine off before it got to the red on the temp gauge, that would lead me to believe no components should have failed. Why do BMW head gaskets suck so much? I know this is a pretty regular problem.
