Am considering buying 62,000k sedan in orient blue, love everything except the colour, would prefer the light silver. 2 questions someone may be able to help with, 1. I think the inside of vechicle smell of cigarette smoke , it is suggested that this is the leather polish I can smell, is this possible? What can be done to overcome this if I purchase the car?, secondly, is it possible to trace the most populr paint/ interior leather combinations in 540i sedan 1999-2000? Thanks for any help, Jonno

Mate i bought an E30 318is which is absolutely stunning but the interior STINKS of ciggy smoke. Its gone all stale and the worst thing is that when the cra has been sitting in the sun for a while the smell becomes absolutely horrendous.
If you can get advice on gettig rid of the smell then definitely do that because, believe me, you will get sick of it. With regards to the most popular paint and interior colours i have no idea but silver and black are always popular exterior colours.
My old-man drives a 740il and i reckon that V8 is one of the best engines going around so you can't go wrong with the 5er coupled with one of those puppies...it doesn't beat a six though!
