I was wondering if anyone has heard any info on the possibility of BMW offering a 550xi. I am condsidering replacing our A6 with the new S6 comming out this summer, and wanted to see if I should hold out for a possible 550xi.

I've heard from several dealers that there will not be a 5er V8 X, who knows maybe they will in the future but for now no, the 3 liter I-6 still performs pretty well if you load it up with goodies.

Thank you very much. We are going to test drive the 530 and see how it drives. And yes, I agree, we will be loading it up with goodies if we get one.

Sorry to hijack this thread,,,but Matthew when did you get an 06 330? Did you dump the Z4, or keep it? How do you like the E90 so far? I am very happy, it's not perfect...but it is very, very good.
