1) OEM 55W - $10 - 3500K(color) - 1550 lumens (brightness) - 400hours(life)
2) Aftermarket 100W - $10 - 5000K - 2325 lumens - 300hours
3) HID conversion kit - $400 - 5000-12000K - 3200 lumens - 2000hours
What if I put 9006 100W (2nd choice) head lamps other than OEM 9006 55Ws?
HID conversion kit (3rd choice) may be an alternative choice.
However, I don't wanna make much change to my car. Furthermore,
I heard that some HID conversion kit showed no maximum performances
to BMW ellipsoid lenses.
Thus, I am thinking of 9006 100W installation other than HID.
Furthermore, the manufacturer advertised that 100W bulbs are 50%
brighter than OEM lamps.
Is that dangerous? Has anyone tried it before?
Any input will be appreciated!
