Hello, this is my first post, my problem is the passenger seat's back is all the way down, and when you try to bring it back up just the left side of the back comes up but the right side doesn't. does anyone know what could be the problem

thanks.

something to do with a cable behind the seatback. I had the same problem once, don't operate it, you might twist the seatback up! I remember my mechanic replacing a cable or something like that, it shouldn't be hard or expensive to fix.

There are a few motors under the seat, if I remember correctly each motor operates two cables. This can be a DIY if you are mechanically inclined, have the time you can figure out which cable and motor is not operating correctly buy taking the seat off and using trial & error with the movement. Once isolated unscrew the cable from the motor keeping it pushed into the gears and secure the square part of the cable to a hand held drill and turn the cable accordingly. When securing the cable to the motor, be sure that it stays attached to the gears correctly. Good luck
