there's about 75k wires coming out of the radio! i have a BMW radio owners manual that gives the terminal numbers and description. i thought i'd never be able to find it but it's right here in the drawer next to me! looks like there isn't much of a way to tell which terminal is which? anyway, here goes; 1)left front spk+ 2)right front spk+ 3)left rear spk+ 4)telephone mute feature 5)positive, terminal R 6)right rear spk+ 8)left front spk- 9)constant positive,terminal 30 10)volume control 7)I-bus connection 11)right front spk- 12)left rear spk- 13)illumination,terminal58g 14)right rear spk- 15)ground,terminal31 16)automatic antenna or window antenna amplifier or premium sound system amplifier 17) not assigned number 7 is out of order because that's the way they did it in the book. number on the back of the book is "Best. Nr. 01 41 9 790 127 US englisch bo" maybe with a little common sense you can make something of it? good luck!
