They are cool, kirby. But I couldn't help but chuckle at the thread title... "scenic pix from...Jersey" or to think the last pic is probably garbage. [hihi]

I have never been to the Jersy shore, but they look nice. I will post some from Hawaii when I get back and we can compare them...
Kirby's pics are cool, but new jersey doesn't give one much to work with. I'm sure kirby had to crop out the syringes and other misc. trash. [:D] (I'm just trying to say NJ is a dump)

I was surprised at how clean the beach was overall, but Stone Harbor is a pretty upscale community, they keep it really clean. I think they collect the trash at night and shuttle it to Wildwood, the armpit of Jersey Beaches!

By the way, Eric, the second picture is a good example of why I want to get a DSLR. My Coolpix doesn't give me much creative control over the exposure, and why I still use my manual film Nikons occasionally. The sand pictures would look better overexposed by 1/2 stop or so. The Coolpix does a "great" job of making everything a "perfect" 50% grayscale. I could Photochop it, but as they say, you can't reproduce what's not in the original image.

Yea I know what you mean Kirby. I miss my 20D a LOT, I still have the 50mm cheapo lens... I was thinking of picking up a 30d but I'd like to wait til something different comes out - though i'm not sure I can wait that long!

The m3 wants its picture taken! [hihi]

Very nice Kirby. I love the 3rd one and the snail family. What is the orange thing surrounded? Was that the snail family's fence or another living creature?

I think the orange thing is a marine plant of some sort. I can't remember where, but I think I've seen this plant in the water somewhere, like in a big marine aquarium place.
