acceleration loss..!!! =(

guys im losing acceleration response.. when i first got the car it would FLY.. i would lightly tap the gas and it would happily fly down the street.. now i have to floor it and it still struggles to get to 100.. i also have this slippin noise i believe its my alternator.. anyone tell me what can i do.. i still need about 2000 miles until my nexst oil change.. please HELP.. im gettin spanked by my friends lil integra.. and he doesnt even have vtec or twin cam..

catalayic converter maybe, the same thing happend to my grandpas old oldsmobile and the cat was bad. when he put a new one in it was back to normal

A 325i would kick a gsrs (assumed "best" integra) ass anyday. Me and a buddy got those cars he had a 97 GSR Vtec and I got a 87 325i and I destroyed him. A 88 325i has about ~35 more lbs of torque and tops out 170bhp at about 5800 rpm if I am correct and a GSR Vtec is 7800 or so. Curb weight I think a e30 is 100lbs or so heavier.... And thats why ricers suck

hmmm fuel maybe

i know this for a fact when using any chip upgrade u need to use high octane gas it sounds like u just need a fuel system cleaner and some high octane gas. go to chevron and get this fuel addative shit called techron fuel system cleaner or injector cleaner ther is 2 or so of them just get the most expensive one they carry if not ther then go to walmart ive been told they carry it ther in the states .. uh and get prettymuch the highest octane gas u can find and put a tank of it in ther and like others said maybe a fuel filter or if u have really high k ur fuel pump maybe just dieing i had that happen to me it didnt die all at once it died slowly so keep those in mind but it hink mine is the maybe the cheapest solution (your fuel)

well my car died on the parkway.. it turned out to be the alternator.. hopefully i havent gotten the car back so i dunno what else could it be .. well in response to the post ive been using premium since i got the chip and i did add a fuel cleaner.. the spark plugs are good.. im gonna have to get the o2 sensors checkd and i gotta get some oil for that kn.. cuz its been through hell.. it came off my old 318I and it fit this car but it sat in my garage for about 3 months so it might have gotten dried out.. but i might get rid of it .. i wanna get a open cone filter and the heat shield.. next mods is just tints for now.. the wing eyebrows and rims have to wait.. they have to be painted

idk about the clutch it feels solid but i might have it checked out.. could it be the clutch fan?
