I'm looking to buy an aftermarket intake for my 1997 M3. I'm down to two choices: AA tuning intake or the Jim C intake. Anyone have any experience with ethier product. I am not sure about this ITG filter. The AA tuning uses the proven and well-known K&N filter. They are both priced at 349.00. Just wondering whether ethier one is better. [eek]

I've delt with both... and both are very good intakes... no down sides to either.. I use the Jim C intake with the ITG filter on my 97 M3... the filter is easy to clean.. and lasts forever... I think it lets it breath a little better my self.. but thats just my opinion. I would trust the ITG a little more my self.. and I would buy that one.. just cause I've had no problems with it at all...

If you are willing to pay a little more money you can get the Gfactor "Roar" intake or the GruppeM intake. From what I have seen and heard both are really nice and go with the lines and look of an M3

By the way check out this link to see some E46 fanatics comparing the dinan cai to the GruppeM Ram AI: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?threadid=41169
