Aftermarket M3 Exhaust Systems.. Which is best???

I just ordered a 2004 M3 Convertible for March delivery, and when I get it I want to put an aftermarket exhaust system in. I just want to know which exhaust system sounds the best on the M3??? Or what is the more reccomended brands??? Thanks!!!

SuperSprint(Hamann), Borla, ACS, Active Autowerke, and Eisenmann are all good brands. I will be getting the Eisenmann exhaust sometime early next year.

How about Remus? Don't they generally offer really good exhaust systems? Particularly for BMW and Mercedes...

I have had both the B&B and Supersprint on my 2002 M3. I sold the B&B because it was too loud for my tastes, and now have the supersprint which is not much or at all louder than stock. Both look great compared to the stock exhaust.

Have any you had any good experiences with the UUC rasp pipe yet?

I have a Dinan on my Stage 4 99M3 and it sounds great, especially when you nail the peddle. However on regular driving it is not load at all. Go hear one and you will see what I mean....goodluck

my borla has nice rumble at idle...since the muffler has "broken in" it has gotten pretty loud..but i love it!!!

Remus. I don't know about anything better. But you will have to spend some extra money.

I agree the SS, Borla and Remus are great, Dinan's E46 M3 Exhaust is also good and offers a different configuration for the E46 muffler.

Of all the ones I've heard on the videos posted on this site, I actually liked the Borla sound the best.
