Did it ever occur to you that the reason SOME Hondas have a better resale value is because of who owns them. Most people won't beat on a civic or accord. If somebody buys an M3 they are going to beat on it. If you don't believe that BMW's are in a whole different class than Honda then you are in for serious f@cking disappoinment. That is an ignorant statement in itself. I drive a bimmer, but it is a shitty old one. I do not pretend that my cars make puts me in a higher class, I just simply would rather have my little 1985 318i than a Honda Civic. How many 1985 Hondas Civics have you seen that have a resale of $2000 with 150,000 miles on them¿ Answer. NONE! Why, because people pay more for the car in the first place. It is wrong to think of yourself as better than everybody else because of what you drive. I don't dislike ricers because of what they drive, but rather by how they act(I can can use the word they here because I base this label on people that I have seen in action. It is my label you put on anbody that follows certain criteria). Despite your name, you may not be a ricer. Just like Braht isn't even though he drives an NSX. However, for you to say that Honda is in some way a better car is completely retarded. You can say that they are better than Toyota, or VW, but by the way you said it (resale value, and cost to maintain) you are also saying that it makes them better than Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, Jaguar, Volvo, Saab, or any other car that has a price that depreciates faster over time. Did it ever occur to you that the whole Honda thing is a FAD and that's what the resale value is based on¿ Can't help but to think of one other car this happened with. The original VW Beetle. You might want to think about what you say more closely. These cars are not in the same class. If for some reason you are right and they are in the same class as BMW, congradulations because you just proved damn near every respectable editor, writer, and automobile magazine owner wrong.
