I had the air conditioning evaporator replaced on my 1989 325iS, and subsequently I couldn't get any heat to flow into the passenger compartment. I took the car to my local BMW dealership (Markel, Omaha), but they did absolutely nothing (and have since lost my business). Does anyone have a clue why there should be a problem with heat flow into the passenger compt after such a repair? The air flows into the cabin just fine, but when it is cold outside (below 30 F), there is nothing but cold air coming into the car. (Note: dampers and fan seem to be okay.)
