Angel Eyes

Quick question: Where are the bulbs, if any, for the angel eyes? Im trying to surprise my wife and see if I can chage the color to match HER eyes which are green. Not only would I finally see below her waist again , but it would individualize our E39. Thanks. HH

I presume yours are OEM angle eyes, I don't think BMW has green bulbs for their halos. You would have to dismantle the headlight covers to get to them.

I have the aftermarket angle eyes which use LEDs, that I can change the colors if they are available in high intensity brightness (12000mcd or higher)

I figured it out. I dont have to dimantel anything, I just found where the bulbs were, and twisted the housing to get it out and get too the bulbs. Did a quick job with a Sharpie and, voila! Check out my other thread "Check it It Out".
