Hello Folks,
I've been reading in some of the various forums over the past week or so, and decided to post here as there seems to be some good (and more realistic) advice here.

Nevertheless, I recently picked up an 87' 325i convertible from an elderly neighbor of my fathers. The car has just over 110K on it, and is really in nice shape for it's age. It's a black car with blk/red interior. Other than a couple of small door dings, the exterior is in great shape....has been garaged it's entire life, so the paint is in exceptional condition. However, it still has the original top on it, and it's going to need to be replaced soon.

Anyways, my question is about the factory audio system. The head unit was no good, so I replaced it with an aftermarket unit, and while I was at it, added a small sub in the trunk. Everything worked great for few days, but now it appears that the factory amplifier has quit working (probably my fault from putting too much input into it with the aftermarket unit). So I need to know where I can find the factory amplifier? I've heard that it is in the trunk on the coupes....is that still the same in a convertible? If so, where abouts might I find it?

Thanks for any info that you guys can provide! :)
