ANOTHER you will not believe this.....

I was in Kaiserslautern, Germany last week at a friends....(overnight stay i might add! ). Well the next morning me and my "friend" got in my car and headed downtown to get some breakfast and do some shopping. About two hours later we returned to my "friends" apt. complex. About a half hour later I came back to my car to leave to my house. When I started my car my boardcomputer dinged and "nebelicht vor prufen" was displayed(to the uninformed that means "check front fog-lights". I get out of my car and go look at my fog lights.......what I thought were my fog lights....They were totally gone....lights and plastic housing around the lights totally gone. I proceeded to inform my friend and we called the polizei and they said that they wouldnt come out there to make a police report for fog-lights! Jeezzzz...to make a long story short new lights and housing costs me around 200euro...I can deal with that...but why MY fog-lights?????? I wont get them until monday so I am driving around with two gaping holes in my front spoiler....

Mr elussive IM'd me and told me i should've been sympathetic and i shouldn't have put you down -- I wasnt putting you down or being unsympathetic -- you said you can buy new ones if thats the deal.

I was just stating that there are a lot of cars in germany that i'd rather have the foglights from, than a 5 series.

Well to be perfectly honest they are the M5 spoiler foglights not the regular 5series fog lights and i dont take any offense because you cant use them on any other car unless you have the M5 spoiler anyway......

Quick update to my foglight situation.....I recently got my new foglights and installed them in about 5 min. This time I got the "clear" glass instead of the "rippled" and imho they look 100times better....so I am smiling again...just 180euro poorer......
