I am on the verge of buying a 2.5L, X3- which I loved test driving. Then the US Gov't report on SUVs and roll overs came out. The X5 did reasonably well. Too soon for reports on the X3. But I witnessed the most horrific accident last week on the highway btwn a car, truck and SUV and the SUV (an American model) flipped a few times and skidded down the highway on it's roof. Bit nerve-wracking.
Any info on roll-overs with X3?

With the DSC it is harder to roll the X5 or X3 over than most other SUVs. You cannot however repeal the laws of physics, so all vehicles will roll over under certain conditions.
You can rest assured that an X3 will not roll over as easy as say a Honda CRV or a Lexus RX330 or certainly a Ford Exploder.
