automatic transmission oil check

Hello, can anybody tell me how to check the auto transmission oil on my 1992 520i , there is no dipstick, the car runs sluggish when cold, and the gears are slow to pick up , any idea,s

If it is a sealed transmission the only way to check fluid levels is via the OBDII port.

a 1992 has OBDII? I don't think so. Might as well have the old fluid flushed out and new fluid put in. That should fix it.

My error, that would be an OBD1 car, still scannable!
