hi,
When my a/c is on, my temp increases to about 3/4 and goes over 3/4 when i'm idling in traffic when it's hot outside and when i'm using the a/c. the temp remains under 1/2 without the a/c on. the aux fan turns on with and without the a/c on. i've done the jumper for the low speed and high speed. low speed jumpered, the fan comes on. high speed jumpered, the fan does not come on. I hear clicking, which sounds like it is coming from the relay switch. I swapped out the relay switch between the low fan and high fan. the low fan still comes on when jumpered, but the high fan still does not. I've checked the fuses, and they are all good. I tested the restistor (which i understand that if the aux fan runs with or without the a/c then the resistor is good, but I also tested the resistance and it looks good, but may be low: bentley says 6ohms, and i think i'm reading 1.5). i tested the voltage on the wires and they are 12.3v, so they are good. anyone know what else i can do? 1984 318i. thx
