It all depends on how much you're willing to pay, and I'm assuming your car is an E46 M3 (2001 and on model year), correct? You can purchase front and rear Brembo 4-piston kits, but they are not cheap. For a front kit (front calipers, rotors, and shit) from Brembo, expect to pay $3K-$4K, same with the rear kit. As you can see, a new set of rotors and calipers can get extremely expensive ($8,000 altogether) but Brembo is the best. If you don't want to spend a ridiculous amount like that, get a set of EBC Green Stuff pads and a set of rotors. But make sure you find a really great set of rotors because the stock E46 M3 brake setup is already really great.

Its a 1997 E36 actually and Ive had a quote for some aftermarket EBC kit at a not unreasonable £350 ( aprox$700 ) ....The guy who works in the motorfactor shop has one too so did me a good price!!!
Anyone heard of it?

Personally, I will not buy another set of EBC brake pads for quite some time! And I recommend that you look at Hawk or some other brand.

I purchased EBCs for my M3 when Tire Rack was selling them, (TireRack quit selling them for the M3s within 4 months). 3/4 of the time, my car feels like the rotors are warped. Naturally, the rotors aren't warped or esle the brakes would feel this way 100% of the time.

Brake pads can leave deposits on the rotors making the feeling of warped rotors happen to your steering wheel as you brake. While the brake pads stop my M3 like a fly on flypaper, they're just not what I would call daily driver brake pads.

yeah, EBC green stuff's are this sheeze (so i hear) but also (so i hear) the chew through your rotors faster than a less aggressive street pad would. the ebc green stuff is a street pad, but it can easily be dubbed for track use with no worries
