Just fitted a sweet set of BKs 17" rims to my car with spacers and got the inevitable wobble, got them balanced and have still got a wobble. Could this be tracking due to the fact I had to use a mallet on the back wheel to get it off.

Cheers

BK make BKs and yes i did use rings , the spacers are specific for the wheels and the e30 type bmw. BK also made the spacers. It might also be caused by a warped disk after looking at it.

Wobble will be a balance issue somewhere. poor alignment rarely causes wobble.

If the wheels balance fine then maybe one is out of shape, but this should affect the balancing too - any reputable tyre place should be able to diagnose and solve this problem for you - for the cost of an hours labour to diagnose you may save yourself hours of frustration.

Could be a wheel bearing although that is usually more of a vibration or just a noise.
