bmw 325is

What should a real e30 bmw 325is say on the compliance plates located in the engine bay (when i mean compliance plate i mean the plate riveted on body inside engine bay near shock absorber towers)?
I've seen some that say 325i does that mean that they are fake or do all 325is have 325i written on the comliance plates.
How can you determine if a 325is is really a 325is and not a 325i?

From a casual observation - items the 325is should have(either optional or n/a to the 325i):
Leather interior, Sport seats, Electirc sunroof, Multi-Function OBC (with averages for fuel, speed, range, ect.), rear deck spoiler,and I think the three spoke steering wheel.

What you can't see is the Limited Slip Dif, and suspension components.

This also applies to the 325es vs the 325 or 325e.
