BMW 5 Series 2000 Facelift Model Chrome Windows - Need replaced! HELP!!

I have recently just bought a BMW 5 Series 2000 facelift model. Around the outside of the Offside/Nearside front and back windows It has chrome. Does anyone know where I can get black instead of this chrome???

Any help would be great.

I sugest going to your local BMW dealership and see what they have to offer. That is what I would do.

well i know I have the "facelift" model and it comes with black molding...not chrome.....do you have a pic of the car? The dealer should have what you are looking for as i dont know any aftermarket companies that sell the molding.

I saw on ebay they sell a black TAPE that you can essentially tape over the chrome and make it black. The look was called or referred to as SHADOWLINE...or something like that...

Give your car the SHADOWLINE EURO LOOK...with this high quality tape etc etc..its supposed to be pro grade and able to wrap around with no wrinkles. Maybe search ebay for it???

I would consider pulling it off and having it painted maybe?

Yeah the M-facelift molding style is called "shadow-line"...I dont know about that tape though....rather go ahead and drop the money and get the real deal from the dealer. But then again I almost always bite the bullet and go with OEM parts........just my 2cents
