BMW 5 Series

Hello,

I'm new to the thread and my question might sound really dumb but I'll give it a shot anyway. Based on yahoo's prices of bmw 5 series, prices are in the mid 40k's. I think the lowest was 42k or somewhere around there. Now given that the 06 are out and its the end of the year with most places have these great deals, is it possible to get a new 05 under 40k?

Not sure you'll find any new 2005's - I bought an 06 in August - the base 525i 2006 is 42.5k - the base 525i 2005 was 41.3k but the 06 has a new stronger engine and has a good number of standard items added over 05. In theory a new 05 with nothing in it could come at 39-40k but remember it would manual and no leather - resale could be more difficult down the road. A 2006 525i with only automatic as an option would list at $44,470 - a very good deal would be be about $42,500. Regards.
