Does anyone Know how the diagnostic system on a BMW 540i Is controled????
Does each of the ECU's for the various systems in the vehicle,[eg: engine managment, ABS, Airbag etc,] send a fault code [When it occurs] to the vehicles body computer. And to access the fault codes, are you accessing the memory in the body computer???
