BMW exclusive wheels?

What does it mean when it says these wheels are exclusive for BMW? I had fallen in love with these wheels when I was shopping for my 325 but since I endened up buying the Mercury Cougar must I now find diffrent wheels? I was unaware that BMW had a special bolt patern so I dont understand why the would be exclusive.

bmw has a 5x120 BP. its not as common as the 4x100,5x100,5x114.3. this is a popular pattern since most "japanese" cars use it...or atleast that's what ive noticed.

Well my current stock alloys are 5 nut but I dont know about the BP. Is there a way to figure out what is on my car?
