I finally found a CD changer for the 91 that doesn't cost $450. I now actually have a reason to get the radio working. I still haven't gotten the code for the radio, but I pulled it out and got the serial number off of the back. Doe anybody know of a place that I can get the code, other than the dealer¿ I don't have the time to take it all the way down to the dealer and wait 30-60 minutes for them to pull it in, take out the radio, and get me the code.

Nevermind, this thread can be deleted on account of the BMWCCA being so tremendously kick @$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took mine to a dealer and it took them about 35 seconds to type some junk into a computer and they never had to pull the radio. Dont let them make you pay anything if you do go there.

I have had a set of MB RSD 213 components sitting in my closet for damn near 2 months. I didn't want to put them in before I got the radio to work. I ended up just calling another club member that works at the dealer and he looked it up for me. Most of the dealers I know of make you pay to have the radio taken out. The way they find the code is by the serial number on the plate in the back. Did you already have the serial number¿
