Unless you're knowledgeable with brakes, I would have it checked out. It could be anything from a faulty sensor worn brakes, its best to have it tested.
Post was deleted but I think it was still very valid advice. Get it checked by a mechanic asap. Sorry I don't think brakes are something to make guesses with.
