Break Linings....!!!!

Hi

I have A Message On Board It's Say's " Break Linings "

The Mechinecal Guy , Said That The Break Pads Is New .

And The ABS , Working .

But ,, I am Not Feeling That The Break Is Ok , Cause When I Pus It .

It Take Down To Half , To Suspend .

I believe he is saying that he's had the system checked and was told it was OK, but the brakes don't grab until the pedal is halfway down, in other words - excessive brake pedal travel.
Possible causes of this:
- air in the braking system - bleed the brake system
- defective master cylinder

I agree with Kirby, or your mechanic is confused and your pads are bad. Why are you getting the warning light? Either pads are bad or the sensors have been cut?
