Buying used 2004 530

Of all the '04's being sold out there, NONE have NAV. Is there a reason none of these cars have NAV? Or is it just coincidence that '04's for sale right now just happen not to have NAV?

Also, I've never purchased a used car before, let alone a BMW. By chance, would anyone know how flexible sticker prices would be for a used '04 530i? Or am I going to be pretty much stuck paying close to the asking price?

I got my 525 used and got it for 5K under asking price. Remember they want to move cars, used is always negotiable. However new its pretty much asking give or take a G.

Early production 2004's did not have NAV as there was some computer/compatibility issue. NAV was not available until early 2004 sometime, while production of the 2004's began in Sept 2003. Get the dealer to check the VIN as some of these early production cars were pre-wired for the NAV so that it could be added later when the issues were resolved. I seem to recall that BMW only charging $1,800 to install the NAV in these pre-wired versions.
