Buying used Transmission

I need a new transmission for the old 318i.

Anyone know a good place? I live in Canada, so preferably a canadian company.

do you think $300cnd plus $30cnd shipping is a good deal?
Or, roughly $350cnd for a used as is transmission.

Help me out here. I gave up on trying to fix mine. i could prob sell the core for like $100. thatd be cool.

Well, it's cheap, I can't imaging you'll find anything cheaper. But you run the risk of spending money to install another bad transmission. If you are doing the labor yourself, then I'd go for it.

i'll be installing it myself, so labour isn't too big of a deal.
Just when you get "as is" being that the last transmission built for that car was in.. what? 1985....
so thats the newest i am guranteed. Oh well. I take a risk, hopefully it goes good
