Ok so after i got my new tires on the rear (fronts are the same as before) i went along my favorite stretch of road for a blast to see the differance. the car is much more grippy (of course) but has developed a seriously worring problem. one corner in particular is a right hander over the crest of a small hill which dips and bumps for about 200m. before (even with virtual slicks) i could take this corner at 90 with a bit of effort but not much and 80 is crusing through it. now i went through this corner and the car started to pull to the right(funny that as it a right hander!!![:D] ) so i feathered the throttle to steer away from the kerb but when this happened the car dug in to the left before violently switching to the right. i only missed the kerb through a bit of driver skill and a Truck full of luck.[:0] it unsettled me some what. but i assumed that on new tires id have to wear them in anyway. its now a few hundred miles on and its settled down alot. and fine at high speed flat corners but this one with bumps and dips causes my heart to race more than a bit. i don't want to slow down as its alot of fun any ideas on what could be the problem???? The wheels are all balanced, i know the break discs are slightly warped and are getting replaced but as im not applying them that can't cause the problem.

what kind of tires did you get? almost sounds like something a set of winter tires would do[confused]
We dont change tires over here for winter summer there the same all year round. but there dunlop sp200 i think the guys who own the tire garage are family friends we have known for 20+ years so i know i can trust them. I don't think they could be winter tires anyway because of the grip around all the other corners it seams to only happen on right handers?????? at 80+Mph

You could have a tire with a bad belt (slipped), or mismatched size? Double check because there is serious problem there.
its an odd one all the tires are the same apart from the front right but that was the same before but ill check the tires over just incase cheers. other than that could it be anything else.

If all that was changed were the rear tires I would try swapping tire sides, put the left rear on the right side etc and see if that makes a difference. That situation is not one to take too lightly and would want remedied. Sometimes different tread designs can have an effect also. Remember your life depends on these tires.

damn right cheers guys. i found the problem when the monkey was putting on the wheel on the right hand side (the guy putting it on the left knew what he was doing) he belted the brake disk and knocked it to an angle somehow. not too badly but it ment when i went above certain speeds 80+ the disk was basicly rubbing on the pad as if braking on one side causing the rear right to slow down throwing me into corners. thats why i was down the garage getting it sorted out last night.

thats what i think anyway i know the disk was off balance so im guessing no proof so can't do shit about it but fix it[mad]
