Most of the time, my car starts fine. However, at times, only when its warm, my car will crank and crank before ever offering to start. I have to pump the pedal before it even offers to hit. What could cause this? I bought the car at 202,000 miles and it has about 245,000 on it now. Is it time for injectors? It only does this in about 1 of every 15 starts.

I have the same problem. And from what I heard the problem is the thermo time switch. It tells the engine weather the car is "cold" or "hot". Hard hot starting is a problem with e30s is common. Grab a bently manual and check out where the Thermo time switch is and check out the BMP design web site (www.bmpdesign.com). They have a specific extended temp range Thermo-time switch ($65). Hope this helps.
