CD changer

Hi

Is there anyone have installed a CD changer fromt heir X3? where is it ? is it at the back or at ur arm rest? also.. is anyone kno where the pre-wire CD changer wires are? Thanks

I don't have one in my X3 but from what I know it should be located in the armrest.

X3 changer

I've installed it, and it takes approximately 1.5 hr. The changer goes in the center console/armrest, and you'll definitely need the installation kit. I went with an Alpine changer, and a Blitzsafe adapter, which works really well. Check out circlebmw.com or Crevier BMW for decent prices. If you decide to do it yourself, have the dealer fax you a copy of the instructions, as they do not come with the installation kit.
