Changes in paint codes

The front doors on my 92 525i are both in need of replacement, and I found a couple of doors on ebay for cheap that I think are the same color as my car, but thats my question. The doors are from a 1989 silver/gray car, and mine is a 1992 silver/gray car. the pics on the auction make it look similar but its hard to tell, does anyone know if they changed the paint codes in these years? Thanks

I am not sure of the paint codes, but according to Realoem.com the doors on your car have a different part number than the doors on the 89. (89 to 9/91 - 525i L-41518107681, and R-...682) (92 - 525i L-41518138005, and R-...006)

i would say that your car is granite silver and those doors are dolphin grey, they look very similiar but are not.
