Clean, Black Tires

Hi All
I am looking for the best way to keep my tires "factory" black without using tire shining products. Personally, I am not a fan of the wet look but would very much like to keep the tires looking as though they were just installed. With so many products out there marked as "tire and rubber cleaners" and all claiming to be the best, I turn to you guys/gals for assistance. Anybody tried any of these types of cleaners?

I use Griot's Garage Rubber Cleaner for my tires. It works very well, but I use Zaino Tire Protector afterwards. It dosent give it a wet look more thain just a new tire with a slight sheen, I think you would like the look.

Using those tire dressings arent just for looks, some of the good ones like Zaino's and Griot's Garage Tire Dressing have protectors in them so that they can add to the longetivity of the tires. Both Zaino's and Griot's Garage tire dressings should provide the look you are after. See my detailing guide for more info.

You can keep your tires looking black (not shiney) by using Lexol's Vinylex or 303's Aerospace protectant. You can get these products at classicmotoringaccessories.com or autogeek.net.

Ozone and UV light is what makes some rubber compounds look brown and some compounds look gray. The 303 or Lexol will protect the tire from Ozone and UV rays.
