Clean Windows?

I can't for the life of me, get my windows streak free. I haven't had problems in the past with other cars, but this one is really getting to me. My neighbor suggested Eagle One window cleaner and that seemed to help a little, but there are still some streaks. I was using some turtle wax non-amonia window cleaner. I clean when cool and in the shade and use 100% cotton. What do I have to do to get streak free windows?

TIA.

Use the Sunday newspaper.....really. Microfiber towels are great to use for windows but when they are being a pain I use crumbled up newspaper and Eagle One 20/20.

The streaks you have are from interior "gassing off" or VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) and means that the interior leather, plastic and vinyl is oxidizing, the glues and solvents used in putting together the interior are the culprit. This is what causes the "new car smell".

Just continue to polish the window with the newspaper, spray some paper and rub the window and then buff it with dry paper and repeat as needed. be careful of the ink as it can transfer from your hands to your interior. I use rubber latex surgical gloves.

Hope that helps,
Anthony

I carry towels custom made for cleaning glass, superior quality and performance, no streaks, no lint.
I could not clean glass without spending LOTS of time and effort before I started using these, now I just spray and wipe, it's that easy:)

Good glass cleaners- Einszett(which I also carry), Stoners, Eagle One 20/20, Gunk Glass Cleaner(all available at Wal-Mart), Duragloss(available at Carquest and Napa parts stores)
