which clutch would u guys recommend sachs? .. anyone have links for clutches? i found some on ebay for like 170 is that good or no? i wanna know how much should i be charged for labor.. i wanna change the clutch asap its slipping in 4th n 5th gears

many retail outlets sell clutch kits for about that price. As for labor and everything, the last clutch I had installed ran me about $650 for parts and labor. Clutches are pretty universal, so you may not find it very cost effective to go to a specialty shop (i.e BMW only), but I'd still recommend going to a european specialist.

As for the type of clutch, Sachs is OE for BMW and the regular kit is more than sufficient. Unless you have engine mods that put your HP over 275-300, you won't really need anything more heavy duty...it'd be overkill.

Definitely check around for labor charges. A reputable independent european car specialist in my area who has worked on my car before has quoted me a price of $450 all inclusive for a clutch replacement.

alright does anyone have any websites i can visit to find clutch kits?.. i aske around my mechanic told me 300 for the labor and hes the one that sold me the car so i guess thats a good deal.. i would appriciate the info
