Cold start valve questions

Not a major problem, but it seems that when it gets real cold (around 10 deg.), my engine likes to idle at about 900 RPMs even after reaching operating temperature, just about 100 RPMs less than when I first start it. How concerned should I be about this?

i'd say not very. it could be an idle control valve or the cold start valve, but it sounds like no big deal. just keep an eye on it.........

Yeah, that seems to be the general consensus (sp?) when I ask around, though it doesn't help with these -10 degree days...
