Convert analog clock to digital trip computer in 2001 Z3

I would like to replace the analog clock in my 2001 Z3 with the digital trip computer and wanted to know if the proper connections are already on the wiring harness. The parts are relatively inexpensive (around $200) bu the dealer wants 2-3 labor hours to determine if the connections exist. If anyone has done this already any info would be greatly appreciated.

Analog clock

I have the reverse question: I wish to replace my digital clock with the analog clock. Do you know where I can find one? I've hunted everwhere! Appreciate any advice.
