i only have a few more projects i need to do to my car, and almost all are pretty expensive to do. however, there are two or three small projects that are cheap. i want to paint my valve cover and intake manifold, and i'm scheduled to do that within two days. i'm also looking into getting some red ignition wires(the valve cover and intake manifold will also follow the black and red color scheme). the only thing i can't find are colored cooling hoses. i want red hoses for the radiator, thermostat housing, etc. those are the most prominent hoses in the car, and i think that replacing them with red ones (since i need new hoses anyway) would be a relatively cheap mod. does anybody know where i can find these notorious red hoses? thanks

I've heard of red sleeving in either nylon or braided steel. Both are available at Checker/Shucks/Kragen, Pep Boys, and Auto Zone.
Otherwise, I've only heard of the colored hoses (silicon-long life) in either green or blue.

sleevings huh...that would be easier...and i'm guessing more cost-effective.
