Crazy Road Trip To Get My M3!!!

I just got back from a crazy 1600 mile road trip from Vermont to Michigan and back to pick up my new ride:

2003.5 M3
-Jet Black, Black Leather, Premium & Cold Weather Packages, Nav, Xenons, PDC, Aluminum Trim, Width Adjust Seats, Manual Transmission. Only 8,000 miles on it!

I traded in my Jet Black 2001 330Ci. I loved that car but the M3 is incredible!!!

-I bought the car at a Porsche/Audi dealer. They were great, gave me an awesome deal (they took $4K off the price!) and a very good price on my trade. Then they had the car inspected by the local BMW dealer. Then they detailed it and brought it inside the showroom floor before I got there. Awesome! I drove it right out the door!

-We drove through some very bad weather. The dealer couldn't get me snowtires on a saturday so we drove though snow, rain and ice on Pilot Sports. The DSC performed flawlessly and we made it back no problem.

-When you find the perfect car and a great deal you gotta go get it (Even if its 800 miles away!). Now the car is going into the garage until some better weather comes out. More pictures to follow.

Time to update my profile!

every time i see an m3, i keep wondering what it would've been like to sprung another 10grand for it.. but nah.

IMO, 2003.5 is perfect. You get the LED tail lights of the '04 but you don't get stuck with the rectangular rearview and ugly shark fin. Very nice car...

Yup! That's why I looked for the 2003.5. I had to have the LEDs and I don't personally like the shark fin.

It was also easier to push the dealer on price since it is a 2003 in thier minds!

I have spent about 6 months looking for the perfect pre-owned M3. It was very hard to find the Jet Black, Manual Transmission, Nav combination!!

Just picked up some OEM 19's for my ride. Now the package is complete! (I wanted to find a pre-owned M3 with 19's but settled because the price was right and all the options were there!)

Too bad I have to wait for the snow to melt to put them on. The 19's make a sick coffee table - I just put a nice piece of glass on them and I can see the wheels every day!

can you handle going from a 19" coffee table down to a 18"? you are gonna see a lot less silver, and way more black. be prepared [:p] the 19s do make nice coffee tables btw. one of my friends got one set up like that. great way to find space for it imo. [thumb]
