cuts out at 2k

I just bought a 325is drove it home it rocked.
I was all happy decided to spray engine cleaner on dirty engine and hosed off engine.
Usually I leave engine running when I do this, but this time I didn't.
Car starts and idles OK but wont rev over 2000. I just cuts right out. I dried the connectors I thought might be the prob with moister but it still cuts out. Any ideas?

there is a WOT switch

It is located on the bottom of the throttle body.

There is also the electrical connector on the bottom of the AFM.

Wide Open Throttle i believe

WOT is located on your TPS. (Throttle Position Sensor) on the side of the intake, where the butterfly is. where the throttle assmebly is.

I'll take them apart and dry them out.
Hopefully that fixes the problem.

I took off the connector under the MAF & under intake didn't seem to be any moisture. Put them back on. I also gave the MAF/Intake a smack for good luck . Sometimes it works.
Whata ya know it seems to have fixed it. I'm not sure if it was the smack or moving of connectors. The only side effect is the idle is jumping and it stubles when I give it gas.
I think the MAF/Intake is the culprit.
