Dash Board Lights, parking lamps...HELP!

I have a 98 Z3 (2.8 L). My dash board lamps and the parking lights will not turn off. The only way to turn them off is to pull fuses (#33 & 35). Also... enven with the fuses in place the odometer is not visiable. Does anyone have a clue as to what is going on? Thanks, Frederick

Could this problem be in the light switch on the dash? It seems to have a different "feel", i.e.: you do not feel the click for parking, fog and headlights???
